The building originally opened in 1961 as Abel’s General Goods & Tackle Box, serving the Islamorada community with fishing gear, bait, and local supplies for over 60 years before becoming Islamorada Pizza Co. Abel’s General Goods & Tackle Box is now located at The Marina at Three Waters Resort.
